Welcome to the Tower! We are excited to introduce you the new way to achieve great results on World Chess. By playing, you can earn Progress points and Chess coins, advance to new levels, receive Prizes such as free trial access to a Pro account, certificates to Shop, unique postcard signed by chess player, and many other benefits that will become available very soon.

1. The Tower is an opportunity to track your activity on World Chess and receive Prizes for it. In order to climb the Tower, you need to earn Progress points. You can find the calculation terms below.
2. The Tower is a free feature for both Basic and PRO accounts. To get a Basic account you just need to register on the platform. Follow these simple rules to do that. Remember, PRO accounts owners can win significantly more chess coins than owners of Basic accounts. Consider upgrading to PRO.
3. The Tower consists of 30 levels. The Progress points that need to be scored are indicated in the window of each level. After completing the level, the level window will change color to yellow and begin to shine. You can read about the prizes and collection rules below.
4. Be careful! After completing the 10th level, we will ask your confirmation to continue your journey in the Tower, as you will continue to receive unique Prizes that were previously unavailable on World Chess. After completing level 10, you will see an offer to continue in the banners on the main page and at the end of the game. Click on it and you will participate further. Otherwise, the Progress points will no longer accumulate. Don't worry, after completing level 10, the Tower remains free as well.
5. The number of Progress points and Chess coins are updated automatically every hour. You can follow your progress on this page or by clicking on your level in the upper right corner of the page.
How can I get Progress points?

We have now launched the first version of the Chess Tower.
Therefore, the calculation rules are extremely simple:
If you win the game, you get 2 PP;
If you draw, you get 1 PP;
If you played 10 games during the day, you get 5 PP. PP is awarded only for the first 10 games
Number of Progress points does not depend on the time control.
You can see how much PP is credited after the end of the game on the banner under the chessboard. The banner shows the amount of accrued PP and your level in the Tower.

For playing in unauthorized mode
For playing games with AI
For losing a game (single/tournament)
For winning the tournament
For cancelled games
For the games where you gave up
For the puzzles
For registration
For the day streak
For the win streak
For using the analysis

In the Tower, Prizes are displayed in the level windows. From level 1 to level 10, you can earn Chess coins, which can be exchanged for Prizes from the Tower's virtual store. Starting from level 11, you can win not only Chess coins, but also more significant Prizes: a postcard from Berlin signed by the player, a 5% certificate to the Store and a free month of Pro subscription. Don't forget to click "I'm committed" after completing level 10 to continue competing for Prizes.
Prizes are not collected automatically. This is done deliberately so that you don't miss the opportunity to purchase additional Prizes for Chess coins.
The Prize can be obtained only on the game page and only for completed levels.
Just as the levels accumulate from the first one, it is also worth opening Prizes. Each level, ready to award Prizes, will magically flash. Click on the flashing window in the Tower, and the Prize will be transferred to your Сhess coin balance.
If you have completed several levels, then you need to start receiving prizes from an earlier one. As soon as you collect the Prize, a new Prize from a higher level will be available for you.
If you are not a Pro subscriber, then only at the last completed level will you be able to choose a Pro Prize. Prizes for all previous levels will already be available without the possibility of upgrade.

Only the Chess coins are valid in the virtual store of the Tower. You cannot purchase Prizes for real money.
To make a purchase in the Tower's virtual store, click the Exchange button in the lower-right corner of the window, select a Prize, and click Buy. Then follow the instructions and collect the Prizes.

Streak is a continuous sequence of specific actions.
To achieve Game streak you should play 10 games during the day. In this case, the result of the game does not matter. We kinldy remind that you can earn 5 points for the first Game streak everyday. You can see the number of games played after the end of the game.
To achive Day streak you should play at least one game per day. In this case, the result of the game does not matter. If you missed one day, the counter will be reset to zero.
To achive Win streak you should win every game. At the same time, it doesn't matter how long you win: a day, a week or a month. As soon as you lose, cancel, or draw, the counter will be reset to zero.

Unfortunately, the chess Tower is not available on mobile platforms yet. But we are already working on it. If you want to track your progress, you can click on the banner after the game. After that, you will be transferred to the web version.
